Bruno Martini spent many years playing professional football. He was a key player for several French clubs and also represented his country on the international stage.
Playing for Clubs
Bruno Martini started his long career at Auxerre. He played for them from 1981 to 1995, which is a very long time for one club! During this period, he also spent some time on loan at Nancy between 1983 and 1985. After leaving Auxerre, he joined Montpellier in 1995 and played there until 1999.
Playing for France
Martini also played for the French national team. He was their goalkeeper from 1987 to 1996. During this time, he played in 31 matches for his country. He also represented France in two major tournaments: the European Championships in 1992 and 1996.
Later Life
After his playing career, Bruno Martini continued to be involved in football. He worked as a goalkeeping coach, sharing his knowledge and skills with new generations of players.
