Bubblicious facts for kids

Bubblicious is a popular brand of bubble gum. It was first made in 1977. Bubblicious was created because another soft bubble gum, Bubble Yum, was selling very well.
At first, Bubblicious didn't sell much. But in 1978, an advertisement called "Ultimate Bubble" helped it become very popular. After that, Bubblicious started selling in many countries around the world. Today, it is part of Cadbury Adams, which is a division of Mondelez International.
Bubblicious Flavors
Bubblicious has made many different flavors over the years. There have been 28 flavors in total. About 10 of these flavors are no longer made.
Some of the flavors have included Cotton Candy, Paradise Punch, Sour Cherry, and Choco Choco Chip. You can find Bubblicious in its regular form. There are also "Bubblicious Bursts," which have a liquid center inside the gum.
The first "Lightning Lemonade" flavor was stopped in 2000. But in 2005, it came back as LeBron's Lightning Lemonade. This new flavor was made with the famous basketball player LeBron James. A cartoonist named Grey Blackwell drew the picture of LeBron on the gum wrapper. When this flavor returned, it was changed to also have a raspberry taste.
Another fun flavor was "Bubblicious Ink'd!" This gum was a bit sour. It also made your tongue turn blue when you chewed it! Cartoon Network's Klik Street Skaters' Group even made a commercial for this flavor.
Did you know there's also Bubblicious Sherbet ice cream? It's made by Breyers and has bubble gum pieces and a bubble gum swirl in it.
World Record Bubbles
Bubblicious holds a Guinness World Records title! It's for the most bubble gum bubbles blown at one time.
This record was set with the help of many people. Hundreds of Little League players and fans joined Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith. Together, over 100 fans used 300 pieces of Bubblicious gum to set this amazing world record.
