This is the wrapper for the Lightning Lemonade flavor, featuring basketball star LeBron James. This flavor came out in 2005 and was a new version of an older one.

Bubblicious is a popular brand of bubble gum. It is owned by a company called Perfetti Van Melle, which is from Italy and the Netherlands.

Bubblicious gum first came out in 1977. It was created by the American Chicle Division of Warner-Lambert. They wanted to make a soft bubble gum because another brand, Bubble Yum, was selling very well. At first, Bubblicious wasn't very popular. But in 1978, a new ad campaign called "Ultimate Bubble" helped sales grow a lot. Soon, Bubblicious became famous all over the world.

Bubblicious Flavors

Bubblicious has offered many different flavors over the years. There have been 28 flavors in total! Most of these flavors are no longer made. Today, the main flavor available is watermelon.

Some past flavors included Cotton Candy, Paradise Punch, and Sour Cherry. There was even a Choco Choco Chip flavor! Bubblicious gum comes in its original chewy form. There are also "Bubblicious Bursts" which have a yummy liquid center.

Special Edition Flavors

The original "Lightning Lemonade" flavor was stopped in 2000. But in 2005, it came back as LeBron's Lightning Lemonade. This was a special partnership with the famous basketball player LeBron James. A cartoonist named Grey Blackwell drew the fun picture of LeBron on the gum wrapper. When this flavor returned, it also had a hint of raspberry in it.

Another interesting flavor was "Bubblicious Ink'd!". This gum was a bit sour. It also had a cool effect: it would turn your tongue blue! This flavor was promoted by the Klik Street Skaters' Group from Cartoon Network. They even made a commercial that was similar to the original Ink'd! ads.

Bubblicious Ice Cream

Did you know there's also Bubblicious Sherbet ice cream? It is made by Breyers. This ice cream has real bubble gum pieces inside. It also has a swirl of bubble gum flavor mixed throughout.

Fun Facts About Bubblicious

Bubblicious gum has even been part of a Guinness World Records event! This record was for the most bubble gum bubbles blown at the same time. Many Little League baseball players and fans joined Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith. Together, over 100 fans and 300 pieces of Bubblicious gum helped set this amazing world record.
