Bucklin is a small city located in the southeastern part of Linn County, Missouri, in the United States. In 2020, about 413 people lived there. It's a quiet community with a rich history.

History of Bucklin
Bucklin was first planned out in 1854. It was named after James H. Bucklin. He was an important official for the Hannibal and St. Joseph Railroad. This railroad helped connect different parts of the country.
A post office opened in Bucklin in 1860. This made it easier for people to send and receive mail. Bucklin was also the first home of the Missouri Farmers Association. This group later became known as MFA Incorporated.
Geography of Bucklin
Bucklin is found on Missouri Route 129. It is about 5.5 miles northeast of a town called Marceline. Two major railroads, the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad and the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad, both pass through Bucklin.
The United States Census Bureau says that Bucklin covers a total area of about 1.18 square miles. All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water.

- Bayard H. Faulkner (1894–1983) was born in Bucklin. He became the Mayor of Montclair, New Jersey. He was also known for creating the Faulkner Act. This act was a set of rules for how local governments should work. It was named in his honor.
