Bugs Bunny's 3rd Movie: 1001 Rabbit Tales is a fun 1982 animated movie. It's a special collection of classic Warner Bros. cartoons. These cartoons are linked together by new animated scenes. The famous Bugs Bunny is your host for this adventure!

What Happens in the Movie?

This movie follows Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck on a big adventure. They are supposed to sell books for a company called Rambling House. But things don't go as planned!

Daffy's Snowy Adventure

Daffy Duck flies off on his own during a winter storm. He crashes into a house owned by Porky Pig. Daffy pretends to be a stuffed duck to stay warm. He causes a bit of trouble, as usual!

Bugs in the Jungle

Meanwhile, Bugs Bunny digs his way to a jungle. There, he pretends to be a baby ape. He tries to trick an ape couple. Bugs even manages to escape a tricky situation with a boulder!

Treasure Hunt in the Desert

Later, Bugs and Daffy meet up again. They dig into a cave in a dry desert. Inside, they find amazing treasures like gold and jewels! Greedy Daffy tries to take it all. But he runs into Hassan, the cave's guard. Bugs helps Daffy escape by tricking Hassan.

Bugs Meets a Prince

Bugs then finds Sultan Yosemite Sam's palace in the desert. Sam has a very spoiled son, Prince Abba-Dabba. Sam wants Bugs to read stories to the prince. Bugs doesn't want to at first. But Sam threatens him, so Bugs agrees. Bugs tries many ways to escape the palace, but Sam always catches him.

Daffy and the Genie

While Bugs is stuck, Daffy is still trying to get the treasure. He finds a magic lamp. When he rubs it, a genie appears! Daffy tries to push the genie away, thinking he's stealing the treasure. But the genie gets angry and chases Daffy out of the cave. Daffy then wanders the desert, desperate for water.

The Escape and the Ending

Bugs gets tired of reading to the prince. He throws his book into the fire! Sam threatens him again. Bugs tricks Sam into throwing him into a nearby hole. This hole is actually Bugs's way to freedom! Bugs escapes and finds Daffy. Daffy is happy to see Bugs and wants to sell books at the palace. Bugs tries to warn him, but Daffy doesn't listen. Daffy learns his lesson the hard way! The two walk off into the sunset. Daffy has lost all his feathers and asks Bugs for suntan oil.

The movie ends with the classic "That's all, Folks!" message.
