Bukittinggi (Indonesian for "high hill", formerly called Fort de Kock) is a city in West Sumatra, Indonesia. The population of this city is 120,000 when it is estimated (according to 2010 census). In the history of Indonesia, Bukittinggi even became the capital city of Indonesia from 1948-1949 when Indonesia was at war with Netherlands.
