Burcher is a small village in the middle of New South Wales, Australia. It's part of an area called Lachlan Shire. Back in 2006, about 185 people lived here. Burcher is special because it's close to Lake Cowal, a big lake famous for its many different kinds of birds. There's also the Lake Cowal Gold Mine nearby, where they dig for gold.
