Abdulaahi Osman Said (Somali: Abdulaahi Osman Said, Arabic: عبدالله عثمان سعيد) was a Somali-Canadian politician born in 1962. He played an important role in the government of Somalia.
From August 2012 to January 2014, he was a member of the Federal Parliament of Somalia. Later, he served as a State Minister in different government departments. He was the State Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation from January to October 2014. After that, he became the State Minister of Finance until December 2014. He also served as the State Minister of the Premier's Office for Environment.

Working with Yemen
In May 2014, Abdulaahi Osman Said met with the Ambassador from Yemen, Fu'ad Mohamed Al Zorqah. They talked about how Somalia and Yemen could work together. This meeting happened in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. They discussed many things, including starting direct flights between Mogadishu and Sana'a, the capital of Yemen. This was the first direct flight route between the two cities since 1991.
Working with the Arab League
Also in May 2014, Abdulaahi Osman Said met with Mohamed Abdalla Idiris, the Ambassador from the Arab League. The Arab League is a group of Arab countries that work together. They talked about how the Arab League could help Somalia develop. The meeting focused on the League's promise to help rebuild Somalia after conflicts. Countries like the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar promised to help raise money for Somalia's rebuilding efforts.
State Minister of Finance
On October 25, 2014, Abdulaahi Osman Said's role as State Minister of Foreign Affairs ended. This happened because the government changed some of its ministers. He was then given a new job as the State Minister of Finance. The Minister of Finance is in charge of managing the country's money.
End of His Term
On December 17, 2014, Abdulaahi Osman Said's time as a State Minister ended. This was because a new Prime Minister, Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke, was chosen. In his farewell speech, he encouraged young people in Somalia to help rebuild their country. He also told university students to keep studying and work for peace. He asked Somali professionals living in other countries to come back home and help with local development.
