Bárbara Rebolledo Sánchez (born 22 January 1973) is a famous Chilean television presenter. For many years, she was a well-known face on Televisión Nacional de Chile. Since 2015, she has hosted the show Culture in the City on 13C.
Bárbara Rebolledo's TV Journey
Bárbara Rebolledo started her career with a professional internship at Channel 13. She worked on the program Nuestra Hora. She also appeared in other shows on the same TV channel.
Later, she worked at Mega before joining TVN. At TVN, she became part of the morning show Buenos días a todos. She stayed with this popular show for four years. She also hosted Buenas tardes Eli when the original host was unwell.
Bárbara hosted Día a día a día and La Ruta de Beringia. In 2004, she began hosting the show Passions. She first hosted it with Felipe Camiroaga, then with Martin Cárcamo. In its last season, she hosted the show by herself.
She also hosted the first two seasons of Peloton with Felipe Camiroaga. Another show she hosted was Abre los ojos. On this show, she interviewed people who had been eliminated from a reality show.
After five years, Passions ended in 2008. Bárbara decided to take a break from television. She returned in 2013 with a program called En la vereda on TVSenado. In 2015, she started hosting Cultura en la ciudad on Canal 13C. In 2019, she worked as a hostess with Daniel Valenzuela on a cable channel called "Cariño malo".
Becoming a Constitutional Convention Member
In 2021, Bárbara Rebolledo took on a new role. She became a member of the Constitutional Convention of Chile. This group was formed to write a new constitution for Chile. She represented the 17th District. Her term began on July 4, 2021, and ended on July 4, 2022. This was a very important job for her country.
