Bárbara Rebolledo Sánchez, born on January 22, 1973, is a well-known Chilean journalist and TV host. She is famous for her friendly personality on screen. Bárbara became a familiar face on Chilean television, especially on Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN), during the 2000s. She hosted popular shows like Pasiones and Pelotón.
Besides her TV work, Bárbara studied journalism at Gabriela Mistral University and Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago. Her skills in communication helped her get involved in public service. In 2021, she was chosen to be part of the Chilean Constitutional Convention.

Bárbara Rebolledo's TV Journey
Early Steps in Television
Bárbara Rebolledo started her career at Canal 13. She worked on the show Nuestra Hora, where she interviewed people on the street. She also worked with hosts Patricio Oñate and Juan Carlos Valdivia. After that, she joined Mega before moving to TVN.
At TVN, Bárbara was part of the morning show Buenos días a todos for four years. She also hosted Buenas tardes Eli when Eli de Caso was ill. She co-hosted other programs too, like Día a día a día and La Ruta de Beringia.
Becoming a Popular Host
In 2004, Bárbara co-hosted the successful talk show Pasiones with Felipe Camiroaga. Later, Martín Cárcamo joined them. Bárbara hosted the final season of Pasiones by herself. She was also a host for the reality show Pelotón and its spin-off, Abre los ojos. In these shows, she interviewed contestants who had left the competition.
After Pasiones ended in 2008, Bárbara took a break from television. She wanted to spend more time with her family. During this time, she started her own production company.
Returning to the Screen
Bárbara returned to TV in 2013. She hosted a political talk show called En la vereda on TV Senado. In 2015, she hosted Cultura en la ciudad on Canal 13C, which was a cultural program.
In late 2016, she hosted an interview series called Así es la vida on Canal 13C. She also filled in briefly on Chilevisión's morning show, La mañana de CHV. This marked her return to live television after nine years. Viewers and the press praised her return.
In 2019, Bárbara hosted Cariño malo on TV+. She worked alongside Daniel Valenzuela and Cristina Tocco on this show.
Bárbara Rebolledo's Political Role
In 2021, Bárbara Rebolledo was elected to the Chilean Constitutional Convention. She represented the 17th District, which is in the Maule Region. She ran as an independent candidate, meaning she was not part of a specific political party.
Bárbara served in the Convention from July 4, 2021, to July 4, 2022. During this time, she helped with important discussions about Chile's new constitution. This was a very important period for the country.
