C Bear and Jamal was a fun animated TV show. It was a musical comedy for kids. The show aired on Fox Kids from 1996 to 1997. It was about a young boy named Jamal. His best friend was "C Bear," a cool orange teddy bear. C Bear was special because he could rap! Film Roman helped make the show.

• Jamal Harrison Wingo - (voiced by Arthur Reggie III) - Jamal is a 9-year-old boy. He is very trusting. C Bear always helps him when he faces problems.
• C Bear - (voiced by Tone Loc) - C Bear is a smart teddy bear. He has a cool hip-hop style. He comes to life when Jamal is nearby. C Bear always gives Jamal good advice. He can also take Jamal on amazing adventures.
• Hawthorne Wingo - (voiced by George L. Wallace) - Hawthorne is Jamal's dad. He often wonders why Jamal still keeps C Bear.
• Grandma - (voiced by Dawnn Lewis) - She is Jamal's grandmother. She loves to cook for her family. Grandma is always very kind to everyone.
• Grandpa - (voiced by Darryl Sivad) - He is Jamal's grandfather. He is bald and almost always sits in his chair.
• Maya - (voiced by Kim Fields) - Maya is Jamal's friend. She is very smart. She can be loud but doesn't like being told that.
• Big Chill - (voiced by Aries Spears) - Big Chill is Jamal's friend. He is always hungry. He sounds like he has a cold. When he enters a room, he says, "the b-i-g c-h-i double l is in the hizzouse!"
• Kwame - (voiced by Aries Spears) - Kwame is Jamal's best friend. He wears African clothes. He believes in "power to the people." He often calls things "conspiracies by 'The Man'" when he is upset.
• Chipster - (voiced by Jeannie Elias) - Chipster is Jamal's friend. He likes to make his friends laugh. He never thinks he is weird.
• Kim - (voiced by Margaret Cho) - Kim is Jamal's friend. She is often with Maya. She doesn't like it when her friends are picked on.
• Javier - (voiced by Paul Rodríguez) - Javier is Jamal's friend. He is known for not saying mean things.
