Caddo Gap is a small community in Montgomery County, Arkansas, United States. It's located right on the Caddo River, between the towns of Glenwood and Norman. In 2020, about 39 people lived here. It's known as a "census-designated place," which means it's a special area the government counts for population.

Caddo Gap's History
Caddo Gap is famous for an important event in history. In 1541, a Spanish explorer named Hernando de Soto traveled through this area. His group met the Tula tribe, a Native American group connected to the Caddo Confederacy. The Tula people were known for being very strong.
After this meeting, de Soto's journey turned back east. He reached the Mississippi River, where he later passed away. A monument in Caddo Gap remembers this historical meeting.
The 2010 Flash Flood
In June 2010, a very serious flash flood happened near Caddo Gap. During the night of June 10–11, the Little Missouri River quickly rose. This flood affected the campgrounds of the Albert Pike Recreation Area. The water rose from about 3 feet to over 23 feet in less than four hours. Sadly, at least 20 people lost their lives in this sudden flood.
