Cadotte Lake is a small community in northern Alberta, Canada. It's located in Northern Sunrise County. This place sits right on the northern shore of a lake with the same name.

You can find Cadotte Lake along Highway 986. It's about 79 kilometers (49 miles) east of Peace River. It's also 68 kilometers (42 miles) west of Bicentennial Highway (Highway 88).

This community is quite unique because it's split into two parts. One part is inside the Woodland Cree First Nation Reserve 226. This section is called the Cadotte Lake Indian Settlement. The other part is in Northern Sunrise County and is known as a hamlet.

There's also a small airport nearby, called Cadotte Airport. It's located about 2.7 kilometers (1.7 miles) east of the community.

The community, the lake, and even the river flowing out of it are all named "Cadotte." The river also gives its name to a part of a geological rock formation called the Cadotte Member.
