Cajvana is about 36 kilometers (22 miles) away from Suceava, which is the main city and capital of the county. The town is famous for its very old oak tree. This tree is so old that it dates back to the time of a famous Moldavian ruler named Stephen the Great (who ruled from 1457 to 1504). Even though Cajvana is called a town, it still looks and feels a lot like a village. Most people living there work in agriculture, which means they are involved in farming. The area was affected by floods in 2005.
