Caley Reece (born Caley Lewis on 23 November 1979) is a retired Australian kickboxer. She was a world-famous champion in the sport of Muay Thai. This sport is a type of kickboxing that comes from Thailand.

Reece competed in the featherweight and lightweight divisions. She was very successful as both an amateur and a professional fighter. She won six World Championships during her career. She also won a silver medal at the 2010 World Combat Games. One of her most famous wins was against Tiffany van Soest, another top fighter.

Early Life and Start in Martial Arts

Before she became a Muay Thai fighter, Caley Reece worked as a manager at a health clinic. She also practiced a martial art called Zen Do Kai for many years. In Zen Do Kai, she earned a brown belt, which is a high rank.

Reece started her Muay Thai fighting career when she was 25 years old. Even though she lost her first two fights, she didn't give up. She went on to win many fights in a row after that.

A Champion's Career

Rising Through the Ranks

As an amateur fighter, Reece quickly showed her talent. She won several important titles in her home country of Australia. These included the WMC state title for Western Australia and the Australian national title.

In 2009, Reece became a professional fighter. She won a world title in her very first professional match! On 5 September 2009, she defeated Sindy Huyer to become the WPMF Women's World Featherweight Champion.

Later that year, she traveled to Bangkok, Thailand, to compete. There, she won the WMC Women's Intercontinental Featherweight Championship. She successfully defended this title in a fight the next year.

World Stage and Championships

In 2010, Reece represented Australia at the 2010 World Combat Games in Beijing, China. She competed in the Muay Thai event and won a silver medal. This showed she was one of the best fighters in the world.

Reece continued to win major titles. In 2011, she won the WMC Women's World Featherweight Championship. A year later, she made history by winning another WMC world title in a different weight class. This made her the first woman to hold two WMC titles in two different divisions at the same time.

After a short retirement in 2012, Reece returned to fighting. In 2014, she fought in Las Vegas and won the Lion Fight Women's Featherweight Championship. This was her fourth world title. She retired from the sport for good in 2015, leaving behind an amazing legacy.
