Calvin Harrison (born January 20, 1974) is an American athlete who specializes in sprint races. He is the identical twin brother of fellow Olympic athlete Alvin Harrison.

At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, Calvin and Alvin Harrison made history. They became the first twins ever to compete and win Olympic gold medals together on the same relay team. They were part of the U.S. team in the men's 4 × 400 metres relay race. In this race, four runners each complete 400 meters. Alvin ran the first part, and Calvin ran the third part. However, in 2008, their team's medals from the 2000 Sydney Olympics were later removed because a teammate broke the rules.

Calvin Harrison did not compete in the 2004 Summer Olympics. He faced a two-year break from the sport because he used a substance that was not allowed in competitions. His break ended in 2006.

Early Life and High School Success

While his brother Alvin won an individual silver medal at the Olympics, Calvin was a star in high school. The twins attended North Salinas High School in Salinas, California.

In 1993, Calvin set a national high school record in the 400 meters race, finishing in 45.25 seconds. He won the 1993 CIF California State Meet, beating Michael Granville, who would soon become a national record holder in the 800 meters. Calvin's 400-meter record stood until 2012.

At the same 1993 state meet, Calvin also won the 200 meters. He teamed up with Alvin to win the 4×400 meter relay and helped their team get third place in the 4×100 meter relay. These wins helped North Salinas High School tie for the team title, which was a big achievement for the school. Because of his amazing performance, Track and Field News named him "High School Athlete of the Year" in 1993.

Life After High School

Due to family challenges, Alvin and Calvin Harrison lived on their own from their junior year of high school. They moved between Orlando, Florida, and Salinas, California.

After graduating, Calvin Harrison attended Hartnell College, a two-year college. However, he did not compete in track during that time. Calvin also helped write a book called Go to Your Destiny. This book was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2001.
