Cameron Ellis-Yolmen (born January 28, 1993) is a former professional Australian rules football player. He played for the Adelaide Football Club and the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League (AFL). The AFL is the highest level of Australian rules football. Cam was chosen in the 2011 National Draft as pick number 64. After his AFL career, he started playing for the Wodonga Raiders. This team is part of the Ovens & Murray Football League.

Early Life and Junior Football
Cameron Ellis-Yolmen was born in Adelaide, Australia. His mother is an Indigenous Australian from Koonibba. His father is from Papua New Guinea. He moved to Adelaide in South Australia when he was very young.
Cam started playing football at a young age. He played 80 junior games for the Lockleys Football Club. Later, he played senior football for the Flinders Park Football Club. This club is in the SAAFL. He also played for the Woodville West Torrens Football Club in the SANFL. Recruiters from the AFL club Adelaide noticed his talent there.
AFL Career Highlights
Ellis-Yolmen did not play an AFL match in his first two seasons. Instead, he played well for Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL. Even though he hadn't played an AFL game yet, he was chosen for the Australian squad. This was for the 2013 Indigenous International Rules series against Ireland.
Making His AFL Debut
Cam Ellis-Yolmen finally played his first AFL game in Round 12, 2014. He played against Fremantle. He was a substitute player and had five disposals. After this game, he was sent back to play in the SANFL. He dislocated his finger in a SANFL game, which made it harder for him to get back into the AFL team.
He did not play another AFL game in 2014. However, he played very well in the midfield for Adelaide's new reserves team. He finished fourth in their best and fairest award. He also had the most disposals, clearances, and tackles for the team.
Playing for Adelaide
Ellis-Yolmen started the 2015 season in Adelaide's main lineup. He played very well, getting about 20 disposals in the first five games. His performance then slowed down, and he was not in the team after Round 15.
Adelaide removed him from their player list at the end of the 2017 season. But he was able to get a spot back on their list for the 2018 season.
Moving to Brisbane Lions
In 2019, the Brisbane Lions signed Ellis-Yolmen. He joined them as a free agent. The Adelaide Crows received a compensation pick for him.
In January 2022, the Brisbane Lions moved Ellis-Yolmen to their Inactive List. This meant he could no longer play for the team.
Life After AFL
Cam Ellis-Yolmen's father is from Papua New Guinea. His mother is an Indigenous Australian from Koonibba. Today, Cam lives in Wodonga. He works in the renewable energy field for a company called Next Generation Energy.
