Cambridge is found in the middle of Jefferson County. It is about 8 miles (13 km) southeast of downtown Louisville. The city is surrounded by other communities.
Nearby Towns and Roads
To the north, Cambridge borders Lincolnshire and St. Regis Park. To the south, it's next to Houston Acres. Louisville is to the west. The rest of the area around Cambridge is part of the larger Louisville/Jefferson County area.
A main road, Kentucky Route 155 (also called Taylorsville Road), runs along the southern edge of Cambridge. This road goes southeast for about 4 miles (6 km) to Jeffersontown.
