These include araucaria moist forests, which are damp forests with araucaria trees. It also lives in gallery forests, which are forests found along rivers. Sometimes, you can find it in open grasslands too.
What It Looks Like
Myrciaria delicatula grows slowly. It can be a small shrub or a small tree. It usually reaches a height of about 4 to 10 meters (about 13 to 33 feet). This plant is called "semideciduous." This means it loses some of its leaves during certain times of the year, but not all of them.
Leaves
The leaves of this plant are simple and smooth. They grow in pairs, opposite each other on the stem. Each leaf has a short stem, about 2 to 4 millimeters long. The leaves feel a bit like cardboard.
