Camila Bordonaba Roldán (born September 4, 1984) is a talented Argentine actress, singer, and theater director. She became famous for her roles in popular TV shows like Chiquititas, Rebelde Way, and Floricienta. Camila was also a member of the well-known pop-rock band Erreway, alongside Felipe Colombo, Benjamín Rojas, and Luisana Lopilato.

Early Life and Beginnings
Camila Bordonaba was born on September 4, 1984, in El Palomar, a town in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her father, Juan Carlos, worked as a grocer, and her mother, Nora, was a podiatrist. Camila has two older siblings, a sister named Melina and a brother named Rodrigo.
She started her journey in television very early, at just three years old. She appeared on a musical TV show called Canta Niño in 1987. She sang with "La banda de Canta Niño" and also performed some songs on her own. When she was eight, Camila began taking acting lessons. Before that, she enjoyed rhythmic gymnastics and even competed in it.
Career Highlights
Becoming a Star in Chiquititas
At twelve, Camila began her acting career in the children's TV series Chiquititas. This show was created by Cris Morena. Camila was one of the actresses who stayed with the cast for a long time, from 1996 to 2001. During these years, she also performed in the live theater shows of Chiquititas. In 2001, she acted in her first movie, Chiquititas: Rincón de luz.
Rebelde Way and Erreway
In 2002, Camila took on a starring role in the teen series Rebelde Way. She acted alongside Benjamín Rojas, Luisana Lopilato, and Felipe Colombo. This show was also created by Cris Morena.
At the same time, Camila joined the musical band Erreway with her co-stars. They released their first album, "Señales," which was very popular. The band then went on the "Señales Tour" across Argentina. In 2003, Erreway released their second album, "Tiempo," and started the "Nuestro Tiempo" tour. They even traveled to Israel for many concerts.
Movies and Other TV Shows
In 2004, Camila filmed her second movie, Erreway: 4 caminos. This movie came with Erreway's last album, "Memoria." After this, the band members started working on their own projects.
That same year, Camila played a villain in the TV series Floricienta. In 2005, she got her first main adult role in the show El Patrón de la Vereda. She even sang the theme song for it. She also made a guest appearance in ¿Quién es el jefe?.
In 2006, Camila was part of the cast of Gladiadores de Pompeya. Around this time, Rebelde Way became very popular in Spain. Erreway's music was re-released there, and Camila and Felipe Colombo traveled to Spain for promotions. They later had a "European Tour" with sold-out concerts.
In 2007, Camila starred in the TV show Son de Fierro, which was very successful. Erreway tried to record a new album called "Vuelvo" without Luisana, but it was never released. At the end of 2008, Camila appeared in the series Atracción x4, where she worked with Luisana Lopilato again. In 2010, she starred in the horror film Penumbra.
Stepping Away from the Spotlight
In 2012, Camila released a new song, "Solo me salva amar," with her new band, "La Miss Tijuana." However, since 2010, Camila has slowly moved away from public life. In 2011, she started her "Arcoyrá" project. This involved traveling around Argentina in a caravan with her art space. She also directed a play called Una noche en el castillo.
Personal Life
Camila Bordonaba is the godmother to the daughter of her Erreway bandmate and close friend, Felipe Colombo. She also dated Benjamín Rojas, another Erreway member, from 1998 to 2004.
Since 2012, Camila has chosen to live a quiet life in the south of Argentina. She is no longer a public figure but continues to be involved in the arts, especially as a director.
