Story of the Movie
The film tells the story of some children who are orphans. They are forced to work on a farm. This farm is run by a strict man named Colonel Francisco Estévez (Juan Leyrado) and a woman named Marga Calvo (Alejandra Flechner).
One day, Belén Fraga (Romina Yan) finds a special book. This book was recommended to her by Tok (Brian Vainberg) and the Old Wise Man. Belén then meets Alejo Méndez Ayala (Facundo Arana), who lives with a boy named Felipe Mejía (Felipe Colombo).
The Colonel is very interested in a secret cave. He believes it contains very expensive diamonds. But in the end, it turns out the diamonds actually belong to Belén! The movie is full of magic, adventure, and many songs.

Plans for a Chiquititas movie started about four years before this film was actually made. At first, the idea was to make a movie for people in Brazil, but those plans changed.
The movie was filmed in the year 2000. The beautiful location for filming was Villa La Angostura in Argentina.
