Jorge Facundo Arana Tagle (born March 31, 1972) is an Argentine actor and musician. He has won many awards for his work in television and theater in Argentina. Facundo Arana is also well-known for his amazing charity work.

About Facundo Arana
Facundo Arana was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His father, Dr. Jorge Arana Tagle, was a lawyer. His mother, Mathilde von Bernard, was an athlete. Facundo went to St Catherine's Moorlands de Pilar school.
When he was 17, doctors found out he had a type of cancer called Hodgkin's disease. This cancer affects the body's immune system. He had treatment for 11 months. After five years of check-ups, he was declared cancer-free. This experience made him want to help others.
Climbing Mountains for Good Causes
Facundo Arana has used his fame to help people. In November 2010, he climbed Mount Aconcagua. This is a very tall mountain in South America. He did this to make people think about blood donation. He put a flag on top to remember the first blood transfusion in Argentina.
In 2012, he tried to climb Mount Everest. This is the world's highest mountain. He wanted to raise awareness about being kind and donating blood. He had to stop his climb because of a breathing problem. But he didn't give up! On May 23, 2016, he successfully reached the top of Mount Everest.
Family Life
Facundo Arana has been with model María Susini since 2007. They have three children: India, Yaco, and León Moro. Facundo and María got married on December 20, 2012.

Facundo Arana started his acting career in the 1990s. He appeared on Canal 9 in shows like Alta comedia.
1990s TV Hits
In 1997, he got a big role in the popular children's show Chiquititas. At first, he played the bad guy. But in 1998, he became the main romantic lead. He fell in love with the main character, played by Romina Yan.
After Chiquititas, he starred in Muñeca Brava from 1998 to 1999. These shows were very popular. They were watched not only in Argentina but also in countries like Russia, Israel, and many parts of Latin America. This made Facundo Arana famous around the world. He even won an award in Israel for Best Actor!
2000s Success
In 2000, Facundo was a co-star in the comedy Buenos vecinos. In 2001, he made his first movie, Chiquititas: Rincón de luz. He also appeared in the film La fuga.
His next big role was in the soap opera Yago, pasión morena. For this show, he won his first Martín Fierro Award for Best Actor. In 2002, he starred in 099 Central on Canal 13. He won another Martín Fierro Award for this role.
In 2004, he worked with Nancy Dupláa again in Padre Coraje. This show was a big hit. He won his third Martín Fierro Award for Best Actor for this role. In 2005, he acted in the play Visitando al Sr. Green. He won awards for his theater work too.
In 2006, he starred in Sos mi vida. This show was the most-watched in Argentina that year. It was also popular in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He also starred in the movie Tocar el cielo. In 2008, he starred in Vidas robadas. This show was praised for talking about important social issues.
2010s and Beyond
In 2010, Facundo returned to movies with El agua del fin del mundo. In 2011, he was back on TV in Cuando me sonreís. He also made a documentary called Donar sangre salva vidas.
He continued acting in theater, including the play En el aire. From 2013 to 2014, he was in the TV series Farsantes. Later, he starred in Noche y día from 2014 to 2015.
In 2016, his play En el aire was very successful. He also gave a concert with his band, Facundo Arana & The Blue Light Orquestra. They released his second album, "EN EL AIRE". In 2017, he started in the play Los Puentes de Madison. He also released his first solo music album, Salir a tocar, which featured jazz and blues music.
Helping Others
Facundo Arana spends a lot of his time helping others. He is an Ambassador for the Fundaleu foundation. He helps with their campaigns. He has also worked with other groups like UNICEF.
He started the "Donar Sangre Salva Vidas" (Donate Blood Saves Lives) campaign. He has made two documentaries about it. He also used his acting roles to raise awareness. For example, in Vidas robadas, the show talked about important human rights issues. In 2012, he became the "Godfather" of the first university for indigenous students in Abra Pampa, Jujuy Province.
