Julieta Díaz was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She started studying acting when she was 12 years old. Her father, Ricardo Díaz Mourelle, was an actor for over 35 years and taught her a lot about performing. Her mother, María Núñez, is an astrologer.
Her Acting Journey
Julieta began her acting career at age 17. She got her first role in a TV miniseries called Bajamar, la costa del silencio. After that, she appeared in many other TV shows like Verdad consecuencia, Nueve lunas, and Gasoleros.
She became very well-known for her role in Campeones de la vida. Later, she starred with Oscar Martínez and Catherine Fulop in Ilusiones. Julieta won the Clarín Shows Award for her acting in the show 099 Central.
Julieta has also appeared in music videos for famous artists. She was in videos for the Mexican band Maná (for "Mariposa traicionera"), Gustavo Cerati (for "Crimen"), and Diego Torres (for "Sueños").
In 2003, she starred in the soap opera Soy gitano. For this role, she took flamenco dance classes. The next year, she was the main character in Locas de amor. She also acted in the play Emma Bovary.
Julieta continued to appear in TV shows like Botines and Mujeres ... (a show about women's stories). In 2009, she starred in the popular soap opera Valientes. She also performed in a play called El año que viene a la misma hora with Adrián Suar.
