Campechuela is a town and a municipality in Granma Province, Cuba. It is located on the southern coast of the Gulf of Guacanayabo. This area is known for its beautiful natural surroundings.

History of Campechuela

The town of Campechuela was first started in the year 1869. It grew over time and became an important center. In 1912, Campechuela was officially made the main town, or "seat," of its municipality. This meant it became the administrative center for the surrounding area.
