Canadian Forces Land Force Command facts for kids
The Canadian Army is Canada's land military force. It is also known as the Land Force Command. It is a big part of the Canadian Forces, which also includes the navy and the air force. The Canadian Army has about 19,500 full-time soldiers and 16,000 part-time soldiers. These soldiers protect Canada and help in missions around the world.
The Canadian Army uses different types of forces. These include infantry (soldiers who fight on foot), artillery (soldiers who use large guns), and tanks (armored vehicles with powerful guns).
