Jakob Kasimir Hellrigl (born July 27, 1991), known as Candy Ken, is an artist from Austria. He is a rapper, a model, and a popular TikToker. He began his career as a rapper in 2014. Candy Ken is known for mixing a strong, masculine look with fun, feminine pop culture styles. He has become well-known for his TikTok videos. In these videos, he often shares glimpses of his exciting life.

Who is Candy Ken?
Early Life and School
Jakob Kasimir Hellrigl was born in Bregenz, Austria. He went to Wenatchee High School in Wenatchee, Washington for one year. While there, he played football. He also met two friends who he says inspired him to follow his dream of making music.
Later, he studied photography and film design in Berlin. However, he left college in 2014. It was during his college years that he created his unique character, Candy Ken. This character uses fun images from Hello Kitty, Japanese Kawaii culture, and Barbie dolls. He also often wears pink clothing as part of his look.
Starting His Music Career
In 2014, Candy Ken started a video series on YouTube called Welcome to Candy Land. He directed these videos himself. The music for his songs is made by Lets Go Radio. It is shared by a company called Spinnup.
His video series was later turned into a short film, also called Welcome to Candy Land. This film won an award at the Alpinale short film festival in Austria in 2015. In September 2015, he released his second music collection, called Candy Ken Paradise. This was produced by DJ Smokera. In November 2015, he released a third collection, Daddy 69, which had five songs and five videos. Candy Ken directed four of these videos himself.
In June 2016, he released his first full album, Real Talk. This album had twelve songs. Ten of these songs were made with another rapper named Gigi Tays. To celebrate the album's release, a party was held in London. The album was also produced by Smokera. Candy Ken has said that the American rapper Riff Raff is a big influence on his music and art. In April 2018, Candy Ken appeared on the TV show Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Becoming a Model
Candy Ken's modeling career began in 2015. A stylist and designer named Nicola Formichetti saw him on Instagram. Formichetti invited him to do a photo shoot for his Japanese magazine, FREE.
Formichetti also introduced him to a famous photographer, Terry Richardson. Richardson took photos of Candy Ken for Man about Town magazine. Around the same time, the Italian clothing brand Diesel hired him as a fashion model. He also walked the runway for fashion shows in Berlin and for Japanese designer Michiko Koshino. He has been featured in many fashion magazines, including VMAN, Paper, Vogue Taiwan, and the Korean edition of Dazed.
