Canelas, Sanxenxo facts for kids
Canelas is a lovely coastal place in Sanxenxo, Pontevedra, in Spain. It's also the name of the beautiful beach there. The name "Canelas" comes from the many reeds, or "canes," that grow in the area.
Like much of the coast in Pontevedra, Canelas has an oceanic climate. This means it gets a good amount of rain, but the temperatures are usually mild, not too hot or too cold. The area is protected from strong northern winds because it faces south.
