Delevingne's first modeling job was at age ten for Vogue Italia. In 2009, she signed with Storm Management. It took a year of hard work before she started getting paid jobs.

Her big break came in 2012 when she was noticed by Christopher Bailey of Burberry. He chose her for the company's spring/summer 2011 campaign. This launched her career on the runway. She began walking in shows at London Fashion Week for Burberry.

Soon, she was one of the most in-demand models in the world. She walked in fashion shows in New York, London, Milan, and Paris for famous brands like Chanel, Fendi, and Dolce & Gabbana. She became a favorite of designer Karl Lagerfeld, who called her "full of life."
