Where is Carlos Reyles?
Carlos Reyles is easy to find on a map! It's located right on Route 5, which is a main road in Uruguay. Another road, Route 4, starts here and goes northwest towards the Río Negro Department. The village is about 37 kilometers (about 23 miles) north of the city of Durazno.
A Look at History
The area where Carlos Reyles is now was once known as "Estación Molles." On August 16, 1939, a special law (Ley Nº 9.860) officially named the group of houses there "Carlos Reyles." Later, on August 12, 1988, another law (Ley Nº 15.972) officially made it a "Pueblo," which means a village.
