Carlos Tenorio's Club Journey
Carlos Tenorio started his professional football career with LDU Quito in Ecuador. He helped his team get promoted to the top league, Serie A, in 2001. He scored 11 goals that season! In 2003, he helped LDU Quito win the Serie A title.
After his success in Ecuador, Carlos moved to Saudi Arabia. He played for Al Nassr for one season. There, he scored an impressive 15 goals in just 16 games.
From 2003 to 2009, Carlos played in Qatar for Al-Sadd. This was a very successful time for him. He helped Al-Sadd win the Qatar Stars League title three times!
Later, he moved to Al-Nasr in the United Arab Emirates. In 2012, Carlos returned to South America. He played for several clubs, including Vasco da Gama in Brazil. He also played for Bolívar in Bolivia, where his team won the Bolivian Primera División in 2014–15. He returned to LDU Quito for one season in 2016 before finishing his career.
Carlos Tenorio's International Career
Carlos Tenorio proudly represented his country, Ecuador, in two FIFA World Cup tournaments. He played in the 2002 World Cup and the 2006 World Cup.
In the 2006 World Cup, he was a key player for Ecuador. He scored important goals against Poland and Costa Rica. His goals helped Ecuador reach the second round of the tournament. This was a big achievement for the team!
