For 30 years, Carol Morin worked in television and radio. In 1989, she joined CBC Newsworld. She became the first Indigenous woman to host a national news show in Canada. Later, she was the first host of In-Vision News on the APTN.

She worked for many radio and TV networks across Canada. Most recently, she was with CBC North. The news program she hosted there won "Best Newscast" two years in a row. This award was given by the Radio and Television News Directors of Canada. After that, she returned to her home province of Saskatchewan.
