Caroline Costa was born in Moissac, France, on May 9, 1996. She grew up in Castelsarrasin, a town in Tarn-et-Garonne. Her parents are Laurence and Joaquim Costa, and she has a sister named Lucie. Caroline has a mix of backgrounds, including Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and French heritage.

Singing with Pop System

In 2007, when Caroline was just 11 years old, she joined a teen music group called Pop System. This group had six members: Caroline, Marina, Sarah, Lisa, Nicolas, and Joris. They were part of a French children's TV show called Iapiap! on Canal J. A famous singer, M. Pokora, helped guide them. Pop System became very popular between 2007 and 2008. They released a song called "Laissez-nous dire," which reached number 12 on the French music charts.
