Carolyn Hennesy (born June 10, 1962) is an American actress, writer, and a strong supporter of animals. She became well-known for her role as Diane Miller on the TV show General Hospital. For this role, she was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards.
Carolyn also had important roles in other popular shows. These include Dawson's Creek, Cougar Town, Revenge, and Jessie. She even won her first Daytime Emmy Award for her work in the web series The Bay.

Carolyn Hennesy was born on June 10, 1962, in Encino, California. Her father was Dale Hennesy, a talented production designer. He won an Academy Award for his work on the movie Fantastic Voyage.
Acting Career Highlights
Carolyn Hennesy has appeared in many TV shows and movies. She played Mrs. Valentine on the teen drama Dawson's Creek from 2000 to 2001. She also had roles in movies like Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) and Click (2006).
She made guest appearances on shows such as That '70s Show, Reba, and Drake & Josh. In Drake & Josh, she played Mrs. Abernathy. She also appeared in What I Like About You.
Since 2006, Carolyn has played Diane Miller on the daytime soap opera General Hospital. This is one of her most famous roles. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for this part in 2010 and again in 2021.
