Early Days and Everytime We Touch (2004-2006)
The group started working on their first album in late 2003. They wrote songs like "Miracle" and "Bad Boy." They also recorded a slower version of their future hit, "Everytime We Touch."
In 2004, Cascada released "Miracle" and "Bad Boy" as singles. These are individual songs released before an album. Their first album, named Everytime We Touch, came out in the fall of 2004. The famous title song, "Everytime We Touch," was released as a single in 2005.
After the album was out, Cascada went on a tour to perform their songs. This tour lasted from the summer of 2005 to the fall of 2006. They stopped touring to focus on making their second album.
Perfect Day and Evacuate The Dancefloor (2007-2010)
Work on Cascada's second album, Perfect Day, began right after their first tour ended in late 2006. The album was released in 2007. They then went on another tour to support Perfect Day in 2007 and 2008.
In the fall of 2008, the group started creating their third album, Evacuate the Dancefloor. This album was released in 2009. Just like before, they toured to promote the album in 2009 and 2010. After this tour, they took a break to start working on new music.
Later Albums and Singles (2011-Present)
In the fall of 2010, Cascada began working on their fourth studio album, Original Me. This album was released in 2011. They toured for Original Me in 2011 and 2012. This time, the tour didn't stop for a new album right away. The reason for this is not known.
In 2012, Cascada released two other albums. These were not new studio albums with all new songs. In 2013, they released an album with acoustic versions of their songs. Acoustic means the songs were played with instruments like guitars, without electronic sounds. Since then, they have continued to release new singles and work with other artists.
