Casino Niagara is a large entertainment center located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. It first opened its doors on December 9, 1996. This building stands where an old amusement park, called Maple Leaf Village, used to be.

Casino Niagara is very close to Clifton Hill, a popular area for tourists. It was first planned to be a temporary place. The idea was for it to operate only until the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort was built. However, Casino Niagara became so popular that it stayed open permanently. It was the second casino to open in Ontario. It was also the first one to have electronic roulette games. Today, Casino Niagara has many slot machines and table games. It also offers sports betting.

Who Owns and Manages Casino Niagara?

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation owns Casino Niagara. This is a government agency in Ontario. Since June 2019, a company called Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment has managed the casino's daily operations. This company also owns another well-known entertainment spot called Mohegan Sun.

In 2017, Casino Niagara completed a big update. They spent $7 million to make improvements to the building.
