Catherine Taber is an American actress. She is famous for using her voice in many cartoons and video games. You might know her as Padmé Amidala from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She also voices Lori Loud and Katherine Mulligan on The Loud House. Plus, she was the main character, Jesse (female), in Minecraft: Story Mode.

Catherine Taber's Acting Journey

Catherine Taber started her acting career in the year 2000. Her first big movie was a drama called The Girls' Room. In this film, she played a college student named Grace. She acted alongside Soleil Moon Frye and Wil Wheaton.

Voice Acting in Video Games

Catherine found her passion for voice acting in video games. In 2003, she voiced Mission Vao in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. This was a popular Star Wars video game. Later, in 2006, she voiced Penelo in Final Fantasy XII. She even received an award nomination for this role!

Becoming a Star Wars Voice

Catherine became the voice of Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated movie and TV show. The show aired on Cartoon Network from 2008 to 2014. Her earlier Star Wars video game roles helped her get this big part. She also voiced Padmé in other Star Wars video games. She even voiced Princess Leia in some Star Wars: Force Unleashed games. Outside of Star Wars, Catherine has voiced many other characters. In 2016, she joined the cast of Nickelodeon's The Loud House. She voices Lori Loud, Katherine Mulligan, and Girl Jordan on the show. She also voiced the main character, female Jesse, in both seasons of the video game Minecraft: Story Mode. This game was released by Telltale Games in 2015. In 2021, she played Katherine Mulligan again in the live-action movie A Loud House Christmas. She also voiced Ginger the Pig in a short animated film called A Pig's Tail for The Humane Society.

Helping Others: Games for Soldiers

Catherine Taber also does great work helping others. She runs a charity website called Games for Soldiers. Through this website, she collects video game donations. These games are then sent to U.S. soldiers who are serving overseas. It's a way to bring some fun and entertainment to them.
