Caudeval (pronounced "kod-val" in French, and Caudavalh in the local Languedocien language) was once a small town in the Aude department in southern France. On January 1, 2016, Caudeval joined with another town to form a new, larger commune called Val-de-Lambronne.
Life in Caudeval
Caudeval was a quiet place, located in a beautiful part of France. It was known for its peaceful atmosphere and natural surroundings. The town was nestled in the Aude department, which is famous for its history and landscapes.

The number of people living in Caudeval changed over the years. Here's a quick look at its population history:

Becoming Part of Val-de-Lambronne
In 2016, Caudeval merged with another town. This kind of merger happens when smaller towns decide to combine their resources. They do this to work together more effectively and to share services. This helps them manage their local area better. Caudeval is now a part of the larger commune of Val-de-Lambronne.
