Cedar Point is a village in LaSalle County, Illinois, United States. The population was 277 at the 2010 census, up from 262 in 2000. It is part of the Ottawa–Streator Micropolitan Statistical Area. North of town was the Cedar Point Mine, which operated from 1906 to 1924.

According to the 2010 census, Cedar Point has a total area of 1.02 square miles (2.64 km2), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 262 people, 117 households, and 78 families residing in the village. The population density was 256.3 people per square mile (99.2/km²). There were 126 housing units at an average density of 123.2 per square mile (47.7/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.09% White, 1.53% African American, and 0.38% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.76% of the population.
There were 117 households out of which 23.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.6% were married couples living together, 12.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.5% were non-families. 26.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.24 and the average family size was 2.61.
In the village, the population was spread out with 18.7% under the age of 18, 9.9% from 18 to 24, 25.6% from 25 to 44, 25.6% from 45 to 64, and 20.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 95.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.4 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $41,875, and the median income for a family was $48,750. Males had a median income of $36,250 versus $19,500 for females. The per capita income for the village was $18,988.
