Centertown is a small village in Cole County, Missouri, in the United States. In 2020, about 284 people lived there. It is part of the larger area around Jefferson City, Missouri.

History of Centertown
Centertown was planned and laid out in 1867. The village got its name because it is located near the geographic center of Missouri. A post office has been open in Centertown since 1867, serving the community for many years.
In 2016, the Garnett Farm Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places. This means it is a special place recognized for its historical importance.
Where is Centertown?
Centertown is located along U.S. Route 50. It is about 14 miles (23 km) northwest of Jefferson City.
