Donovan Chad Mansoor (born April 16, 1993), known as Chad (and before that, Chad Da Don), is a cool South African hip-hop artist. He is a record producer, songwriter, and rapper. Chad released his first album, The Book of Chad, on his 23rd birthday in 2016.

Early Life and Hobbies
Chad was born and grew up in Pretoria, South Africa. When he was a teenager, his family moved to Midrand. As a young person, Chad loved playing soccer. He was so good that he even played for South Africa's national team for players under 14! They went to a tournament in Zurich.
Chad also started a Christian rap group when he was a teenager. But soon after, he decided to make music on his own.
Chad's Music Journey
Chad released his very first song called "Hola." It featured Cassper Nyovest, who was his boss at the time. Later, Chad decided to leave Family Tree Records. He wanted to create his own music in a different way.
So, Chad started his own music company called DCM Entertainment. He signed other artists and songwriters to his label, including his best friend Bonafide and rapper Exe. Chad also joined a new record label called ContraBanned, which belongs to the group Locnville.
You might have heard Chad's music on TV! His song "Wasted," which he made with Locnville, was featured on the popular US TV show, Lucifer. It was in episode 213 of the show.
On October 23, 2020, Chad released another studio album called Dreams Don’t Sleep.
