Chantae McMillan (born May 1, 1988) is an American heptathlete. She is a talented athlete who competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics held in London.

Chantae McMillan's High School Sports Journey
Chantae McMillan went to Rolla High School in Rolla, Missouri. She was a star athlete there, especially in the long jump. She finished high school in 2006.
Becoming an All-American Athlete
In 2005, Chantae earned a special award called High School All-America. She got this by placing third in the long jump. Her amazing jump was 19 feet 4 inches at the 2005 Nike Outdoor Nationals.
Winning Medals in High School
Chantae was very successful at the Missouri state track and field meets. She won medals in the long jump all four years she was in high school.

- In 2005, as a junior, she won a gold medal.
- In 2004, as a sophomore, she won a gold medal.
- In 2003, as a freshman, she won a silver medal.
She also won a gold medal in the triple jump as a junior.
College Athletics at Nebraska
After high school, Chantae went to the University of Nebraska. In 2007, she started competing in combined events. These events include the pentathlon and the heptathlon.
Setting Records in Combined Events
Chantae became a very successful heptathlete at Nebraska. She won four championships in the Big 12 Conference. She also set two school records. She is known as the most accomplished heptathlete in the history of Nebraska Cornhuskers sports.
Top Finishes in College Championships
Chantae did very well in national college championships.
- In 2010, she placed fourth in the heptathlon at the NCAA Women's Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
- In 2011, she placed second in the pentathlon at the NCAA Women's Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships. She finished just behind another great athlete, Brianne Theisen-Eaton.
Chantae McMillan's Professional Career
After college, Chantae McMillan became a professional athlete. She continued to compete in the heptathlon.
Qualifying for the Olympics
In 2011, Chantae placed third at the 2011 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. This was a big step in her career. She then qualified for the 2012 London Olympics. This happened at the U.S. Olympic trials on June 30, 2012. She finished third at the trials. At these trials, Chantae set new personal bests in several events:
- 100 meter hurdles
- 200 meters
- Shot put
- Javelin
- 800 meters
She met the high standard needed to compete in the Olympics. At the 2012 Olympics, she finished in 28th place.
Later Competitions and Achievements
On June 20, 2015, Chantae competed in the Pan American Combined Events Cup. She placed fifth in the women's heptathlon. In 2015, Chantae was featured on the cover of ESPN's famous Body Issue. This shows her importance in the world of sports.
Training for the 2016 Olympic Trials
During the 2015–2016 school year, Chantae trained and coached at the University of Dayton. She was getting ready for the U.S. Olympic trials on July 10, 2016. At these trials, she placed fifth and set a new personal best score.
Chantae McMillan on Television
Chantae McMillan also appeared on the NBC television show The Titan Games. She did very well in the competition.
Becoming a Titan
On the show, Chantae became a "Titan." She achieved this by beating Claressa Shields, who is a two-time Olympic gold medalist. This was a huge accomplishment. Chantae successfully defended her Titan title once. However, she was later defeated by another strong competitor, Dani Speegle.
