Chapter Spitalfields, first called Nido Spitalfields, is a tall building in London where students live. It is located at 100 Middlesex Street in the Spitalfields area of Central London. This building is the third tallest student home in the world. Only the Sky Plaza in Leeds and 17 New Wakefield Street in Manchester are taller.

The tower has 34 floors. It is located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. However, Middlesex Street, where it stands, is right next to the City of London. The City of London is a very important financial district. Middlesex Street is also part of the well-known Petticoat Lane Market area.

History of Chapter Spitalfields

Before Chapter Spitalfields was built, an office building called Rodwell House stood on the same spot. Rodwell House was built in the 1960s. It had an 8-story main block and a smaller, single-story office area around it.

In 2015, the building, then known as Nido Spitalfields, was bought by Greystar Real Estate Partners. This company owns Chapter, which is a student housing company. Chapter also has other buildings for students in London. These are located in areas like King's Cross and Portobello.

Chapter Spitalfields in Pop Culture

This famous tower has even appeared on television! You can see it in an episode of the popular TV show Doctor Who. The episode is called "The Wedding of River Song".
