Charles Hulett (whose name is sometimes also written as Charles Hulet) was a British stage actor who lived from around 1700 to 1735. He was known for his performances in plays during the early 1700s.

Charles was the son of John Hulett. His father was a Yeomen of the Guard, which meant he was a royal bodyguard. John Hulett also worked as a Steward for the Earl of Northampton, managing his household and estate.

Charles Hulett was born in Bloomsbury, a part of London. Before he became an actor, he spent two years as an apprentice (a trainee) to a bookseller named Edmund Curll. After this, he decided to become an actor.

It's thought that Charles might have started acting in Dublin, Ireland. However, his first known acting job was in London. He played the role of Lennox in William Shakespeare's famous play Macbeth. This performance took place at the Lincoln's Inn Fields Theatre on October 26, 1721.

Charles Hulett became a well-known actor at the Lincoln's Inn Fields Theatre. He might have been helped by another actor named James Quin. Charles worked with this theatre company for a long time. His time there ended in 1732. This was when John Rich, who managed the company, moved it to the brand new Covent Garden Theatre.

After leaving Lincoln's Inn Fields, Hulett joined Henry Giffard's theatre company. He performed at the Goodman's Fields Theatre in Whitechapel, London. He continued acting there until he passed away in 1735. He also made occasional appearances at other theatres.
