Charles Stone III, born in 1966, is an American film director. He is famous for directing movies like Drumline, which starred Nick Cannon. He also directed Mr. 3000 with Bernie Mac and Paid in Full.

Charles Stone III also directed music videos. One famous video he made was "What They Do" for the band The Roots. This video cleverly showed many common things you'd see in rap music videos.

He also created a very popular TV ad campaign called "Whassup?" for Budweiser in 1999. Years later, in 2008, he made a funny version of this ad. It shared his thoughts on politics and supported Barack Obama's campaign for president.

Charles Stone III went to Central High School in Philadelphia. He graduated in 1984. His parents are Louise Davis Stone and Chuck Stone. His father, Chuck Stone, was a journalist and a Tuskegee Airman. Tuskegee Airmen were a group of brave African-American military pilots.
