Charles Williams is a former professional ice hockey player from the United States. He was born on March 12, 1992. Charles played as a goalie in two major hockey leagues: the American Hockey League (AHL) and the ECHL.

Growing Up and College Hockey
Charles Williams grew up in Canton, Michigan. He loved playing hockey and continued his passion in college. He played for two different universities: Ferris State University and Canisius College.
In 2017, something really special happened. While playing for Canisius, Charles was named a First Team All-American. This means he was recognized as one of the best college hockey players in the country! He was also a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, which is given to the top college hockey player each year.
Professional Hockey Career
After college, Charles Williams became a professional hockey player. He played for several teams in the ECHL and AHL.
Playing in the ECHL
On July 17, 2019, Charles signed a one-year contract with the Indy Fuel in the ECHL. He continued to play in this league.
Later, in the 2020–21 season, Charles joined the Jacksonville Icemen of the ECHL.
Time in the AHL
Before playing a game for the Icemen, Charles got a chance to try out for an AHL team. He signed a special contract to attend the training camp for the Hershey Bears on January 22, 2021.
He stayed with the Bears for a short time at the start of the season. After that, he returned to play for the Jacksonville Icemen on February 8, 2021.
Retirement from Hockey
Charles Williams played three seasons with the Jacksonville Icemen. After his third season, he decided to retire from professional hockey. He announced his retirement on June 27, 2023.
