Chase Edmonds (born April 13, 1996) is an American professional football player. He plays as a running back. Chase played college football for the Fordham Rams. The Arizona Cardinals picked him in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL draft. He has also played for the Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos. Currently, he plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Early Life and High School Football
Chase Edmonds grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He went to Central Dauphin East High School. There, he played both basketball and football for the Panthers.
As a senior, Chase had an amazing year in football. He gained 2,378 total yards. He also scored 25 touchdowns. This included 1,984 rushing yards. Everyone agreed he was one of the best players in the state. He was chosen to play in the Big 33 Football Classic. He was even named the Most Valuable Player of that game.
Even with all his success, bigger college football programs were not very interested in him. This was mainly because of his size.
College Football Career
Chase Edmonds played college football for Fordham University. He played there from 2014 to 2017.
Freshman Year Success
In 2014, as a freshman, Chase played in 14 games. He ran for 1,838 yards. He scored 23 touchdowns. He also caught passes for 121 yards and one touchdown. For his great performance, he won the Jerry Rice Award. This award is given to the best rookie player in the NCAA's Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
Continued Achievements
In his second year (2015), Chase played in 12 games. He rushed for 1,648 yards and scored 20 rushing touchdowns. He also had five receiving touchdowns.
During his junior year (2016), he played in 11 games. He rushed for 1,799 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also had one receiving touchdown. In a game against Lafayette, Chase set an FCS record. He averaged 21.1 yards every time he carried the ball. He gained 359 yards on just 17 carries.
Final College Season
In his last season with the Rams (2017), Chase got injured. He only played in seven games. He rushed for 577 yards and five touchdowns. In a game against Holy Cross, Chase set a new record. He became the all-time leading rusher in the Patriot League.
Chase finished his college career with 5,862 rushing yards. This placed him fifth in NCAA FCS history. He earned a degree in Communications.

Arizona Cardinals (2018–2021)
The Arizona Cardinals picked Chase Edmonds in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL draft. He was the 134th player chosen overall. He signed his first professional contract on May 11, 2018.
Chase played his first NFL game on September 9, 2018. He ran for 24 yards and caught passes for another 24 yards. On December 2, 2018, he scored his first two professional touchdowns. This helped the Cardinals win against the Green Bay Packers. In his first season, he had 208 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
In 2019, Chase had his first game with over 100 rushing yards. He gained 126 yards and scored three touchdowns against the New York Giants. For the whole 2019 season, he had 303 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. He also caught passes for 105 yards and one receiving touchdown.
During the 2020 season, Chase had a great game against the Seattle Seahawks. He gained 145 yards from running and catching the ball. He finished the season with 448 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. He also caught 53 passes for 402 yards and four receiving touchdowns.
In 2021, Chase became the starting running back for the Cardinals. He started the first nine games. Then, he got a high ankle sprain injury. He was placed on injured reserve in November. He returned to play in December. He finished the season with a career-high 592 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He also had 43 catches for 311 yards.
Miami Dolphins (2022)
On March 14, 2022, Chase signed a two-year contract with the Miami Dolphins.
Denver Broncos (2022)
On November 1, 2022, the Dolphins traded Chase to the Denver Broncos. He was traded along with some draft picks. He suffered another high ankle sprain in November. He was placed on injured reserve but was activated in December. The Broncos released Chase on March 13, 2023.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2023–present)
On March 20, 2023, Chase signed a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was placed on injured reserve in September 2023. He was activated to play again in October.
On March 13, 2024, Chase re-signed with the Buccaneers. He was placed on injured reserve again on August 27, 2024.
