Roobertchay Domingues da Rocha Filho (born June 30, 1992), known as Chay Suede, is a Brazilian actor and singer. He is also a songwriter, meaning he writes songs. Chay became famous after appearing on a TV show and has since starred in many popular telenovelas and movies.

Chay Suede's Journey to Fame
Chay Suede first appeared on television in 2010. He was a contestant on the fifth season of Ídolos, a singing competition show. He did very well, finishing in fourth place.
Becoming a TV Star
Because many young people liked him, Chay was chosen for a big role. In 2011, he became one of the main actors in the Brazilian version of the telenovela Rebelde. This show was very popular and even had a band called Rebeldes.
After the band finished, Chay started his solo music career. He released his first album in 2013, which was named Chay Suede.
Big Roles in Telenovelas
Later, Chay signed a contract with Rede Globo, a major TV network in Brazil. He played a young José Alfredo in the telenovela Império in 2014. This was a very important role for his acting career.
In 2015, he acted as Rafael in the telenovela Babilônia. The next year, in 2016, he played a young Pedro Guedes Leitão in A Lei do Amor. Chay has continued to act in many successful TV shows and movies since then.
