Chepachet River facts for kids
The Chepachet River is a small river located in Rhode Island, a state in the United States. It flows for about 5.2 miles (which is around 8.4 kilometers). Along its path, you'll find eight dams.
Where the River Flows
The Chepachet River starts its journey at Cherry Valley Pond in a town called Glocester. From there, it flows into Keech Pond and then into the Smith & Sayles Reservoir. After that, it heads north towards Burrillville. In Burrillville, the Chepachet River meets up with another river, the Clear River. When these two rivers join, they create a new river called the Branch River.
