Choi Bo-min (born August 24, 2000), known simply as Bomin, is a South Korean singer, actor, and host. He was a member of the K-pop group Golden Child. Bomin started his acting career in the web-drama A-Teen 2 in 2019. He also hosted the popular music show Music Bank from July 2019 to July 2020.

About Bomin's Early Life
Bomin was born on August 24, 2000, in Yongin, South Korea. He is the older of two children. His younger sister, Choi Seo-bin, is also a singer and dancer. She is a member of the K-pop girl group BADVILLAIN, where she is known as Vin. Bomin studied at Hanlim Multi Art School, a famous school for young artists.
Bomin's Career Journey
Starting with Golden Child
Before his official debut, Bomin appeared in a music video for the group Lovelyz in May 2017. He officially debuted as a member of Golden Child on August 28, 2017. Their first album was called Gol-cha!, and it included their main song "DamDaDi." The group held a special show to celebrate their debut on the same day.
Acting and Hosting Roles
Bomin began his acting career in the second season of the web-drama A-Teen in 2019. He played the character Ryu Joo-ha. In May 2019, Bomin joined the TV reality show Law of the Jungle in Chatham Islands. He also became a model for the cosmetics brand Lilybyred in June 2019.
From July 2019 to July 2020, Bomin was a host for the music program Music Bank alongside actress Shin Ye-eun. He also acted in the romantic comedy drama Melting Me Softly. In September 2020, Bomin played Seo Ji-ho in the fantasy drama 18 Again. He also appeared in a commercial for LG Wing in October 2020.
In February 2021, Bomin became a model for the cosmetics brand Etude. He was also cast in the drama Shadow Beauty, which was released later in 2021.
Recent Activities and Group Departure
On September 29, 2022, Bomin had a minor injury to his face while practicing golf. On August 27, 2024, his agency announced that Bomin, along with two other members, decided not to renew their contracts. This meant they left the group Golden Child.
