Shin Ye-eun (born January 18, 1998) is a popular actress from South Korea. She became well-known for her roles in web series like A-Teen (2018) and A-Teen 2 (2019). She also gained international fame from the Disney+ show Revenge of Others (2022). Another big role was in the Netflix hit series The Glory (2022–2023).

Early Life and School
Shin Ye-eun was born on January 18, 1998, in Anyang, South Korea. When she was growing up, she loved performing arts. This was because her grandfather was a theater actor. She often watched his plays.
She went to Anyang Arts High School and studied acting. Later, she went to Sungkyunkwan University. There, she continued to study performing arts.
Shin Ye-eun's Acting Career
Shin Ye-eun first appeared as a cover model for a college magazine in 2018. Soon after, she started her acting career. Her first role was in the web series A-Teen in 2018.
In August 2018, Shin joined JYP Entertainment, a big entertainment company. That same year, she was in the music video for "Shoot Me" by the band Day6.
First Main Roles and Hosting
In 2019, Shin Ye-eun got her first main role in a TV show. It was a fantasy series called He Is Psychometric. She acted alongside Park Jin-young. She also played her role as Do Ha-na again in A-Teen 2.
From July 2019 to July 2020, she was a host for the music show Music Bank. She hosted with Golden Child's Choi Bo-min. She was also chosen as an ambassador for the 21st Bucheon International Animation Festival.
In 2020, she starred in the KBS2 drama Welcome. She acted with Kim Myung-soo.
Radio and Later Roles
In 2021, Shin Ye-eun was featured in the song "La Rosa." This song was from U-Know Yunho's album Noir. In November 2021, she became a DJ for the radio show Volume Up.
In 2022, Shin made a special appearance in the drama Yumi's Cells 2. Later that year, she joined a platform called Bubble for Actors.
Big Successes in 2022
In November 2022, Shin starred in the drama Revenge of Others on Disney+. She played Ok Chan-mi, a high school athlete. Her character investigates her twin brother's death and seeks revenge. For this role, she won Best New Actress at the 2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards.
A month later, Shin was cast in The Glory. This was a huge hit on Netflix. She played the younger version of Park Yeon-jin, the main villain. The Glory became one of the most-watched non-English TV series on Netflix.
In 2024, Shin was cast in a historical musical drama called Jeong Nyeon. She will play the role of Heo Yeong-seo.

Shin Ye-eun has worked with many brands. In May 2019, she promoted Anna Sui's Fantasia perfume collection. In 2020, she endorsed Innisfree's Wang Cherry Blossom Tone-Up Cream.
