Christopher Carl Singleton Jr. (born November 21, 1989) is an American former professional basketball player. He is 6 feet 9 inches (2.06 meters) tall. Chris played as a power forward and sometimes as a center. He played college basketball for the Florida State Seminoles before becoming a pro.

Chris Singleton's Early Life and High School Basketball
Chris Singleton went to two different high schools. He attended Cherokee High School and Dunwoody High School in Georgia.
During his high school years, Chris was considered a top basketball player. Experts at Rivals.com ranked him as the third-best small forward in the nation. He was also listed as the 12th best player overall in 2008.
Chris Singleton's College Basketball Journey
Chris Singleton played college basketball for three years. He played for the Florida State University's Seminoles team.
In 2011, he was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. This award recognized him as the best defensive player in his college conference. After his team lost in the Sweet Sixteen round of the 2011 NCAA Tournament, Chris decided to leave college. He then announced he was ready to join the 2011 NBA draft.
Chris Singleton's Professional Basketball Career
Chris Singleton began his professional career in 2011. He was chosen by the Washington Wizards as the 18th pick in the 2011 NBA draft. He officially signed with the Wizards on December 9, 2011. On March 22, 2012, he scored 16 points in a game, which was his highest score at that time.
Playing for Different Teams
After his time with the Wizards, Chris played for several teams.
- In September 2014, he signed with the Indiana Pacers. However, he was later released by them in October 2014.
- He then joined the Jiangsu Dragons in China in October 2014. He played 17 games for them before leaving in December 2014.
- In January 2015, he was picked up by the Oklahoma City Blue. This team is part of the NBA Development League.
Success in Russia and China
On September 24, 2015, Chris signed with Lokomotiv Kuban, a team in Russia. He played for them during the 2015–16 season. In June 2016, he went back to China to play for the Anhui Dragons. With this team, he won the NBL championship. He was also named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the finals.
Playing in Europe
Chris continued his career in Europe.
- On July 1, 2016, he signed a one-year deal with Panathinaikos, a Greek basketball club.
- On July 17, 2018, he joined FC Barcelona Lassa in Spain. This team plays in the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague.
- On September 10, 2019, Chris signed with Anadolu Efes in Turkey. This team plays in the Turkish Super League. He had a very successful time with Anadolu Efes, winning two EuroLeague championships in 2021 and 2022. He also won two Turkish League championships in 2021 and 2023. Chris left the team on June 21, 2023, after three and a half successful seasons.
- In 2024, he played for Al-Arabi before ending his professional career.
