Christopher Wyatt Woods (born July 19, 1962) is a former American football player. He was a wide receiver, which is a player who catches passes from the quarterback. Chris Woods played for three seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was part of the Los Angeles Raiders and Denver Broncos teams.

Chris Woods was born on July 19, 1962. He grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. He went to A. H. Parker High School there.

Playing Professional Football
Chris Woods was chosen by the Los Angeles Raiders in 1984. This happened during a special event called the 1984 NFL Supplemental Draft. He was the 28th player picked overall.
Before joining the NFL, Chris also played in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for the Edmonton Eskimos from 1984 to 1985. Then, he played for the Toronto Argonauts in 1986.
After his time in the CFL, he played for the Los Angeles Raiders from 1987 to 1988. In 1989, he briefly played for the Cleveland Browns and then the Denver Broncos.
